Welcome Kit
Look out for a packet that will come in the mail. It will include your member ID card, and other important documents and information.
Member ID card: You can start using your benefits on your effective date, even if your ID card has not yet arrived in the mail. If something is wrong with your ID card, please let us know. If you have a problem with or need to order a new ID card, log in to your Blue Access for Members℠ .
Evidence of Coverage (EOC): This document tells you how to get your medical care and prescription drugs covered through our plan. Review it and keep it in a safe place.
Welcome Call
First, we want to make sure you received your member ID card and your EOC in the mail. We can also answer your questions and address any of your immediate needs. If you’d like we can also:
- Help schedule your Annual Wellness exam.
- Take you through the EOC, which is not a bill, but an important document for you to know about.
- Better understand your needs and help you get started with your plan if you choose to answer a few voluntary health questions.
- Go over plan benefits, such as the Healthy Action Rewards.
